Graphic 45 Little Darlings Baby Hanging sign for my Grandson ( Fernli Designs )

Hello 

This is a hanging sign i made for my Grandson Oliver

I used an MDF Oval plaque that i got from Fernli Designs, this is a brand new company opened up here in the UK, they are selling lazer cut wooden and MDF embellishments, I will put a link to there Facebook page below, their web site will be opening real soon ! So Pop on over and take a peek.

Graphic 45 Secret Garden Mini Album

Hello 

I was very fortunate to receive a 12 x 12 Graphic 45 Secret Garden paper pad from a very good friend.

so what do you do .... you make a mini album ! 

This paper is so beautiful to work with, it speaks for its self, you don't have to add too many embellishments.

White On White Card

Hello lovelies  

I enter a challenge over on the Uk Ireland Craft swaps group On Facebook

Mandy Twitchen hosted this Challenge 

you had to make a white on white card

My card is using White linen card stock

I used a Swirl embossing folder to create a lovely background Layer

3 layered white hearts the middle one embossed and a white butterfly

I add some love lace trim at the bottom and then added flower trim over the top 

finally i add 4 small butterflies around the layered hearts 

the butterflies have got white flat back pearls on them.

this card was quicker to make than i thought and i love how it turned out

Molly Blooms projects

Hello peeps :)

I received a lovely surprise in the post this morning from a friend on Facebook Joy Ferguson, she kindly sent me a Molly Blooms Birthday parade Magazine Plus a cardmaking & papercraft Kit :)

there was a selection of lovely papers, Ribbons, buttons,Stamp set, she also sent me some bakers twin and 3 wooden hearts.The magazine has some lovely idea's inside and templates to work from.

So I thought i would have a play with it

the Photo below is the goodies i received 

Thank you joy i have had fun with it and I have so many other idea's to do with the kit 

I made a standard size card using the papers from the kit and the stamp set 

I made a vellum bag and used the cupcake stamp, fuzzy cut it out and layered it onto 2 scalloped circles to create this sweet little gift bag 

I also made a gift box and decorated it with some of the papers,ribbon and one of the buttons with a little bit of twin, i used my pro markers to colour her in then fuzzy cut her out popped her up on some pop dots , I used some cream seam binding at the top of the box as a handle. 

All 3 projects together

Paper Bag Recipe Mini Album

Hi everyone 

I decided to make a Recipe mini album, I had no recipe themed papers or embellishments so it was thanks to the internet , Pinterest and my imagination this album was created.

I used paper bags in the vertical position ( for the first time ) 

this album can hold lots of recipes.

I had no idea how it would turn out but i am happy with my results.

Vintage image Tags

Hi Everyone

I Hosted a swap on the Uk & Ireland craft swaps group on facebook.

you had to make 3 Vintage images tags with lace, 3 flowers of any sort and a metal embellishment and they had to be 6'' x 3.5'' 

I found the images on Pinterest, i had to re-size them to fit on the tags as i wanted them. 

My Partner was Tracey , I hope she likes them :)

Mini Album I made with a slight difference

Hi Everyone

I want to share this mini Album with you, I seen a picture on Pinterest of a mini album that was slightly different to the Mini' I normally make.  Accordion pockets with tags on one side and the the other side has pocket pages and tags.

So I thought i would give it a go, I am pleased how it turned out. I will put a picture of the Album below and also a link to the You Tube video I uploaded. In the Video i also show a Junk journal i made.

1st Layout of my Grandson Oliver

Hello 

This 8x8 layout is of My Grandson Oliver who is 6 days old today :) 

I have been so looking forward to making baby layouts, there will be no stopping me now! 

I made the flowers using the tattered floral's Die, the Back ground paper is coffee stained paper 

and I used a script stamp randomly using the stamping off technique and glimmer misted the whole page.

I used some scrap pieces of paper to create some Bands down the left hand side.I printed off his picture and matted it onto thick card stock and used some checked paper. 

the word Oliver and the date  has been die cut from an Alterations die by Tim Holtz and glossy accented. 

Finally I added 2 baby them Dimensional stickers I had in my stash.

This was so much fun to make, layouts aren't something i do a lot of but i sure will be making lots from now on.

Altered Coffee tins

Hello Again !

Since I blogged twice yesterday I thought i would try and keep up the good work and blog again today :)

I decided to alter some coffee tins i have been saving up, since they are taking up to much space in my cupboards, I have lots of them thanks to my partner being a Coffeeholic! lol 

They are simply decorated as once I started  them i didn't really know what to do with them.

I have before and after pictures..

I also started an Album tonight, hopefully i can get it finished tomorrow and show you what i made.

I am not quite sure what i am going to use them for, although the middle one is full of Buttons 

 and that's what that one will be used for ( i don't have many buttons )

Junk Journal Inspired By Marianne kensington on YT

Hello 

I was inspired to make this Junk Journal after coming across Marianne Kensington Youtube channel, Marianne makes the most amazing Journal some using hard back books covers and sewing in your own signatures, so after a week or two of watching these video's over and over, i decided to make one myself.

My journal is no way near as good as Marianne's but not bad for a first attempt.

using the covers including the spine of an old hard back book, I made Three signatures Five pages in each all different sizes and using a variety of papers I surprisingly came up with this! 

I didn't take photo's of every single page but have taken a good selection

Prima romance Novel File Mini Album

Hello 

I was inspired to make this Album after watching several videos on file folder Mini Albums 

So A Thank you to Deborah Hemsworth and ThepaperAddiction Both ladies are on YouTube.

I made this little File Mini Album using Prima's Romance Novel Papers.

The papers are lovely to work with, all the lovely designs and die cuts that come with the paper pad

makes it quick and easy to assemble an album.

I used the Tim Holtz  File tab on the edge Die to give the file tab look.

created a few pockets for tags and photo mats.

The lovely flower on the front was made by a fellow crafter called Pat, we were in a swap back last year and  she made me the flower, so out it came from my stash. 

I used a small piece of black lace trim on a few of pockets.

All the tags are from the paper collection.
