Book page pockets

Hi Everyone ! 

Today I made some pockets using book pages, these were inspired by Craftyirina on You tube, Irene have made beautiful pockets for the fall to send out as gifts, these can also be used in junk journals or used as little gift bags. 

I used some walnut stain to distress and age the edges of the pockets, the leaves where Tim Holtz tattered leaves die, I used some distress inks to colour them in fall colours... And some scraps to use as the centre band on the fronts ..

I made some some book page altered paper clips, some eye lash trim and some vintage buttons.

Junk journal soft cover

Hi Everyone 

I Hope everyone is well ...

I havent made much this week at all, i have been ill so spent most of my time either asleep or watch TV .. i am now feeling much better :) 

I made this Junk journal last week and just never got around to editing and making the Video public on You tube 

I used a large paper bag for the cover, i ran the papers i used for the covers through my sewing machine, i really like that effect. the covers are mod podged so its nice and durable. 

the Journal measures 9 1/4 '' x 7'' it has 48 pages thats 96 sides to add too, lots of tags and ephemera, pockets and tuck spots through out.

Napkin tags

New Beginnings Mini Album

Hi Everyone 

I would like to share a Mini Album I made for a swap over on the UK Ireland craft swaps group on Facebook, the Theme was summer, butterflies & flowers.

This is a hard cover Mini Album, It measures 7'' x 5.5'' x 2''  I used stack the deck binding method, there are 6 pocket pages, in each pocket there is a large photo mats, lots of tuck spots , tags, extra photo mats & journal spots throughout, I have decorated the book with paper flowers, Butterflies, bling, seam binding, pearl string and laces.

Soft cover junk journal

Hi everyone ! 

Hope you are all well and having a lovely day ! 

Today I made a soft cover junk journal, it's very much like my journal I posted yesterday as in the materials I used. 

I did get the sewing machine out today and stitched the paper I used in the cover and also some items inside the journal..

Dabbling with some Colors

Hi Everyone ! 

hope you are all well ...

I dabbled in some coloring in last week, i am not the best at either drawing or coloring, but who says it has to be perfect ! right ! 

I found some free images online, I also bought some Digi images, i thought i would just color them and add them to one of my many junk journals I have... 

I am working on some more and i will share them when i am finished them.

I used, water color paints & pencils, gelato's, pro makers and some sharpies, my preference was the water colour paints & pencils,

Chunky junk journal

Hi Everyone!

I hope your are all well ! 

I think I have my crafty Mo Jo back ! Yay! I managed to spent Sunday afternoon finishing this junk journal off..

I used some corrugated card board for the cover, added some sea spray acrylic paint as a quick wash over the cover, there are 3 signatures in this junk journal, there are 72 pages that's a total of 144 sides to mess about with :) 

I mainly used scraps from my never ending scrap box ( I love that box )

Junk journal single signature

Hi Everyone!

I hope you are all well and having a great weekend ! 

Last week I totally lost my crafty Mo Jo :( I could not start a single Project! It was driving me mad ! Anyway... On Friday I managed to get some inspiration and made a little single signature junk journal. It took me all as I needed to complete something to satisfy my craft obsession ! 

I used coffee dyed papers, designer paper from a recollection paper pad called mosaic memories. Done some stamping, made a few altered paper clips, added some stamped tags I had in my stash.... Here are the photos and at the end there is a link to my You tube video...
