Valentine Journal DT project for Fernli Designs

Hello Folks ! 

Today I want to share a Valentine Journal I made for my DT project for Fernli Designs, Fernli specialises in MDF Lazer Cut Embellishments.

I used a variety of Heart shapes on the cover of my Journal, some of the Hearts are 2mm thick and others are 3mm thick, the largest sized heart is 2'' and the smallest being approx 7mm, they do also stock much larger hearts.

The paper line I used was serendipity By Heidi swap.

Art Tiles

Hello Folks ! 

Today I made some Art Tiles after seeing a You Tube Video by My Serenitycrafts, she had made art tiles using polymer Clay, I didn't have any clay so I used card board, Embossed paper, Water colours paints, Inks and UTEE Oh and not forgetting some tacky glue ! 

Each Tile is 1 1/2'' square

I think I will Invest in some polymer Clay and clay tools at some point as this looks like a fun new craft to take up :)

London tags

Hello All 

I was in a swap on the Uk Ireland Craft swap group on Facebook, we had to make 3 tags London themed.

I searched the internet for London images and simply re-sized them, printed them out and cut them up. i used a London underground map on one of them, lots of glossy accents and came up with these! 

My partner for this swap swap Patricia Mitchelson who lives in the US but she is a English born girl and requested this swap.

DT Project Fernli Designs Shabby Chic wall Hanging

Hello All 

This is one of my DT team projects for Fernli Designs from a few weeks ago, I used a hard cover from an old book and layered lace and trims all over, the fernli designs product is the wooded frame in the middle, I used an old white ink pad to soften the colour of the wood.
